hi, mika here.
by day, i’m head of product + strategy at auerbach grayson, a global financial services firm, where i’m building a market intelligence platform for institutional investors covering developed, emerging, and frontier markets.
previously, i spent nearly eight years in defense. a highlight of my career was designing a control room for the canadian navy while imagining what the warfighter of 2035 might expect out of technology.
in between, i took some time off to think about how technology might support human flourishing: a question that turned out to be easier to ask than to answer. along the way i worked with a few venture lab founders and built some things from zero.
in my free time, i enjoy being active, reading, and exploring the streets of nyc with my dog sudo.
i was raised by immigrants, which is likely why i don’t take for granted living somewhere that rewards building things and thinking for yourself.
this is my muser + maker space – a work in progress, always under revision.
